Assistant Manager – Planning

With an expanding portfolio of Brands and products, including exciting new ranges and variants, we are planning to strengthen our manufacturing operations and expanding our production footprint to support our growth and innovation ambitions in the coming years.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage short-term and long-term production plans aligned with demand forecasts and capacity.
  • Create practical schedules to ensure timely availability of finished goods for delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Raw Materials, Mixing, Filling & Packing, Packing Materials) to ensure seamless production flow.
  • Monitor material availability, production batches, and packing operations to avoid delays and minimize downtime.
  • Oversee the movement and accurate recording of finished goods into storage.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels and plan material requirements proactively.
  • Conduct regular planning meetings to review progress, address issues, and adjust schedules.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of plans, stock usage, and production processes.
  • Support implementation of planning tools and adherence to standard planning procedures.
  • Align production completion with delivery schedules, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in planning, scheduling, or operations (preferably in cosmetic industry).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and experience with QB is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and lead planning initiatives.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Preference will be given to the candidate within the age group of 25 to 40.
