Flintec group locates the R&D, sales, distribution and customer support facilities in the USA, Brazil, Sweden, Germany, the UK, France, Italy, Sri Lanka, China and India, while Flintec Transducers (Pvt.) Ltd. in Sri Lanka operates as the main manufacturing wing of FLINTEC group.
In Sri Lanka FLINTEC employs a team in excess of 900 people in most modern facilities in EPZs in Katunayaka & Koggala, dedicated to highest quality work and great ambition to support the expansion of our business.
We are looking for an exceptional engineering graduate with good interpersonal skills, high level of energy & enthusiasm to team up with R & D team catering to Strain Gauges developments, while getting exposure to manufacturing environment.
Research & Development Engineer (Koggala)
Qualifications Required:
- BSc. Eng. in Mechanical Engineering with very good academic records.
- Knowledge in FEA with Solid Works® or other high-end packages (Ex : Ansys®).
- Knowledge in Statistical Data Analysis with software platforms such as Minitab®.
- Mathematical modelling exposure & using programming languages will be added advantages.
- Excellent English communication skills (oral / written / presentation).
- Good analytical skills with a multidisciplinary approach in solution finding.
- Exposure to R&D activities in the fields of materials & product development / experience in DMAIC methodology will be added advantages.
Selected candidates will be based in Koggala facility. But he/she should be willing to work in any of the local or foreign facilities of the FLINTEC group depending on work requirements. He/she will be working in a team of experts in R&D in the FLINTEC group. Preference will be given to the applicants who are in proximity.
