WE ARE LOOKING FOR A
MEDICAL OFFICER - ETU & OPD (WATTALA)
JOB PROFILE
- Responsible for first clinical assessment of all patients arriving at the hospital seeking treatment and to initiate relevant medical management, emergency medical treatment and resuscitation as and when required, also routine medical assessments and to direct them to appropriate relevant specialist consultants if needed.
- Maintain documentation related to all clinical activities performed for a patient and carry out and/or assist in clinical procedures on patients.
- Coordinate and communicate with specialist consultants, nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care in both emergency and outpatient settings.
- Adhere to guidelines and regulations enforced by local, institutional and international Health authorities.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Degree in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized University (MBBS or equivalent) with the registration in Sri Lanka Medical Council.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Officer in ETU, with exposure to OPD patient management, following internship completion.
- Mandatory exposure to pediatrics. Experience in pediatric critical care is an added advantage.
- Ability to perform CPR and BLS. ACLS is preferred.
- With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, kindhearted and dedicated to patient care.
