The Executive – Fabric Inspection will oversee fabric inspection for dress production, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role requires expertise in fabric quality, garment construction, and dress-specific requirements. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in fabric inspection within the apparel industry, focusing on dress production.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspection of fabrics for dress production to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to customer specifications.
Identify and report any fabric defects, color variations, or inconsistencies, and recommend corrective actions.
Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fabric and materials that meet quality standards.
Collaborate with the production and quality control teams to ensure seamless fabric inspection processes throughout the production cycle.
Maintain accurate records of fabric inspections and report findings to senior management.
Stay updated on industry trends and fabric innovations relevant to dress manufacturing.
Qualifications:
A degree or diploma in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, or a related field is preferred.
3-5 years of fabric inspection experience, particularly in dress production.
In-depth knowledge of fabric types, properties, and their applications in dresses.
Skilled in quality control and identifying fabric defects.
Ability to interpret fabric specifications and customer requirements.
