For our Sri Lanka facility, we are looking for:
Technician - SMT Machine Maintenance
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated candidate to join our Maintenance department, with a focus on Maintenance Support for Machinery in the SMT section. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in involving troubleshooting component placement machines, reflow ovens and visual Inspection machines and other machinery related to SMT section.
Your tasks and responsibilities
- Ensures the correct operation of machinery in production lines by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
- Perform emergency repairs and adjust ensure proper functioning.
- Analyze root causes of equipment failures and propose corrective actions.
- Perform regular inspections to identify and correct equipment malfunctions, repairs and replacements.
- Maintain documentation of equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
- Update the spare parts inventory and request spares as per the requirement.
- Report to engineer regarding work completed referring to unusual technical issues.
Required qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities
- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification in Electronics/Mechatronics.
- Strong knowledge and practical skills in electronics systems.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Prior experience in the field of the electronic manufacturing industry would be an added advantage.
