Job Description
SUPPLY CHAIN EXECUTIVE – FRESH PRODUCE & GROCERIES
Roles and Responsibilities
- Planning delivery timetables
- Ensuring supermarkets have enough stock
- Making sure suppliers have enough stock to meet demand
- Overseeing the forecasting and ordering process
- Monitoring stock levels
- Tracking products through transportation to make sure they arrive at their destination
- Overseeing arrival of deliveries to supermarkets
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/supply chain/ logistics or related field required
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
- Previous working experience as a supply chain executive is an added advantage
- Ability to use spreadsheets, databases, and other IT programs
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make decisions quickly
