EXECUTIVE - LOGISTICS
Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Beverages and Ice Creams, is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Executive - Logistics. The position exists to ensure that the empty bottles are received within EBS from the dealers and a proper account of the returned empty bottles are kept in SAP system and be accountable for the variances in stock. Also be responsible and accountable for all finished goods within Soft Drinks for stock variances with the objective of achieving efficient distribution of finished goods. Minimizing the errors while trucks are being loaded and efficient production receiving to New Land from the production area and maintain the accountability by minimizing the discrepancies.
The selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Responsible to manage receiving bottles from dealers and store bottles in a manner that will enable smooth production.
- Responsible for entire full bottles stocks and issue bottles from the warehouse to dealers while maintaining FIFO.
- Responsible for the stock variances.
- Responsible for the entire finished goods stocks and the management of stocks to maintain FIFO.
- Responsible for entire Beverage products loading operation of the company owned & outsourced transporters.
- Responsible for error free loading pertaining to each distributors loads which send away from the factory.
- Responsible for the truck turnaround time.
- Responsible for physical quality maintain factors, temperature of the truck, goods and physical conditions and maintaining FIFO.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Degree in Logistics Management or equivalent with minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in logistics & fleet management including labour handling.
- Logistics management in large scale operations, world trends in effective fleet management.
- Sound knowledge of Logistics management, labour handling, Total Productive Maintenance, Continuous Improvement Methodology, Health and Safety legislations.
- Analytical; Innovative; Communication; Adaptability; Negotiation; Decision making and problem Solving; Organisation; Attention to detail.
Remuneration for the above position will be in accordance with the JKH Compensation and Benefits Policy.
