MONEY LAUNDERING REPORTING OFFICER

We are currently seeking a qualified and dynamic professional to join our team as a Money Laundering Reporting Officer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure Implementation of the Companies Risk Management policies and procedures, maintenance and compliance to the policy while taking measures to reduce the company's operational risk of finance processes.
  • Engage with internal/external stakeholders on matter relating to the compliance requirements of the company.
  • Conduct annual risk assessment across all business activities and develop and maintain a strong compliance culture.
  • Conducting the day-to-day management and operation of the AML function, including staff training and awareness, management information, suspicious activity reporting, sanctions screening, and activity monitoring.
  • Provide investigation into Suspicious Activity Reports and escalate/disclose where appropriate.
  • Provide frequent AML reports to the Board of Directors.
  • Ensure Compliance policy is updated in line with regulatory changes.
  • Understand and have continuing knowledge of all local AML requirements to ensure that the AML program is consistent with all applicable local laws.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Banking/Finance industry with related experience.
  • A Degree or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institute.
  • A professional certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or ICA (International Compliance Association) are highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in AML, Risk and control function and qualification in Risk Management.
  • AML would be a definite advantage.
  • Knowledge of the financial crime regulatory requirements and applicable Laws.
  • Excellent analytical / research and report writing skills along with advanced computer literacy.
  • Ability to multi task and work in a challenging environment with limited supervision.
  • Excellent Oral and written communication skills.
  • A team Player with good interpersonal and Organizational Skills.
