Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Should be capable of preparing financial statements, financial reviews, and ad-hoc management reports.
- Should be conversant in management accounting aspects such as budgeting monitoring variances against budgets, performance reviews, product costing pricing, profitability analysis, etc.
- To handle functions of the finance department, AP, GL, etc.
- Computation of relevant taxes, compiling of returns, and liaising with IRD.
- To monitor and implement (where necessary) internal controls to ensure smooth functioning of processes.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualified accountant from a recognized accounting body ICA or CMA.
- Minimum two years of post-qualifying experience in a manufacturing company in an Executive Level.
- A Degree from a recognized University specializing in Finance/Accounting will be an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical and organizing skills.
- A highly self-motivated professional.
- Good IT skills and exposure to a sophisticated ERP environment.
- Superior communication/negotiation and presentation skills.
- Should be able to work under pressure independently prioritizing work among multiple tasks under minimum supervision.
