“YASH” is BOI approved, 100% foreign investment, located at the Biyagama EPZ. The company produces a range of high quality fashion accessories for the discerning markets in USA, Europe and Australia. They have several vacancies for experienced staff to be employed in the following positions. Candidates should be energetic, pro-active team players inspired to achieve greater heights, both for him/her and the organization.
HR Officer
Responsibilities
- Be actively involved in recruitment to increase the employee cadre by visiting villages, posting ads, and managing employees, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires
- Develop training and development programs
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as HR officer, administrator or other HR position
- Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
