Job Summary
This is an essential position within our organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the relevant field with experience in a management capacity. You will be responsible for all operational aspects of the embellishment plant (including printing and embroidery). The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of business management and development with 5 years of operational experience.
Responsibilities
- Control, organize, and monitor the daily flow of embellishment and print production to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Check schedules, confirm product specifications, and oversee the work of department staff to maintain high-quality standards and meet deadlines.
- Continuously improve processes and enhance cost-efficiency within the department.
- Produce samples and strike-offs that meet required standards, including colour fastness and durability.
- Work closely with customers and relevant departments to adapt production processes to changes in specifications.
- Ensure all health and safety standards and workplace procedures are strictly followed.
- Should be computer literate with good English and have the ability to work independently under minimum supervision.
- Complying with health and safety standards and workplace procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in a management position and in embroidery and printing operations.
- Preferably experienced in working with large apparel manufacturers.
- Excellent leadership and management skills with strong business acumen.
- Proactive, strategic, and confident.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Experience in delivering six sigma / lean process improvement will be an added advantage.
