EXECUTIVE - RE INSURANCE
WE ARE SEEKING A DYNAMIC AND EXPERIENCED EXECUTIVE - REINSURANCE TO JOIN OUR TEAM. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL PLAY A CRUCIAL ROLE IN ASSESSING RISK, NEGOTIATING REINSURANCE TREATIES, LIASING WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS AND ENSURING THE SMOOTH OPERATION OF REINSURANCE TRANSACTIONS.
Responsibilities:
- Assist and support in designing, implementing and managing reinsurance treaties and facultative reinsurance agreements in line with company risk appetite.
- Coordinate with underwriting and actuarial teams to analyze risks and determine appropriate reinsurance structures.
- Analyze and assess underwriting risks and exposures to determine optimal reinsurance solutions.
- Assist and support in negotiate terms and conditions of reinsurance contracts with re-insurers.
- Assist and support in negotiate treaty and facultative reinsurance contracts, including terms, pricing and structure.
- Maintain accurate records of all reinsurance activities, transactions and contracts.
- Assist in managing large claims and recovering funds through reinsurance programs.
- Ensure proper communication and reinsurers regarding claim notification and settlements.
Qualifications:
- Professional Qualification in Insurance or a related field.
- Proven experience in reinsurance or insurance, with strong understanding of treaty and facultative reinsurance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
