Qualifications:
- Following tax-related professional exams.
- Minimum of 1 year to 4 years of relevant work experience in the field of taxation.
- Passion and love to learn taxation with the right attitude.
- Familiarity with tax laws, regulations, and compliance procedures in Sri Lanka.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle tax-related challenges effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and tax authorities.
Job Responsibilities:
- The preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct tax research and stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and policies in Sri Lanka.
- Review financial records, statements, and transactions to identify potential tax issues and opportunities.
- Support tax audits and inquiries by preparing the necessary documentation and responding to tax authorities' queries.
- Provide tax advice and guidance to clients, helping them optimize their tax positions within legal boundaries.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate tax reporting and accounting treatment.
- Conduct Transfer Pricing analyses and benchmarking exercises for multinational clients.
- Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and enhanced efficiency in tax-related procedures.
