Account Executive
Candidate Profile
- Part qualified in accountancy (e.g., ICASL, ACCA, or CIMA).
- At least 3–4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced computer skills particularly MS Excel skills.
- Knowledge and exposure in costing, budgeting, tax and financial management.
- Strong leadership skills, detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
Job Profile
- Ensure the timely preparation and completion of Monthly Invoicing & collection procedures.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial procedures and strengthen internal controls for compliance and efficiency.
- Assist in external audits by compiling necessary documents and coordinating with auditors as required.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of accounting standards and apply them effectively in financial reporting.
- Demonstrate expertise in tax regulations, including APIT, WHT, VAT, SSCL, and CIT, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry standards.
- Review and record invoices from vendors to ensure accuracy in billing. Have knowledge of approved vendors and policies to avoid paying unauthorized invoices and expenses.
