Job title:

Service Engineer/Account Manager (Title will be commensurate with experience)

Position Summary:

The Service Engineer's role is to provide back-end operational support, managing/maintaining customer relationships; daily schedules of technicians; follow up with necessary logistics and procurement; and conduct product training for technicians and Customers.

Required Experience:

Possess 3+ years of professional experience in the commercial kitchen and laundry equipment industry, with a strong background in equipment management, project execution, operations, maintenance, and team coordination.

Key Accountability:

  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Manage a team of service technicians direct reports, and a few in-house subcontractors.
  • Forecast, monitor, and document financial performance against plan.
  • Manage end-end aftersales service delivery and account receivable, working in tandem with Finance and Local Com Sec.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates, prioritizes, and resolves issues encountered by the team.
  • Optimizes the usage of manpower, standard time, equipment, and energy of the team.
  • Escalates critical issues that will impact the business and manage quality issues.
  • Contacts establish good relationship with customer & Dealers.
  • Responds to key customer complaints and carry out customer satisfaction.
  • Forecast, monitor, and document financial performance against plan.
  • Recruit, interview, hire and train technicians as required to meet workload demands, and company or customer expectations and requirements.
  • Manage a team of service technicians, and a few in-house subcontractors.
  • Manage parts, materials and tools procurement, and logistics scheduled maintenance, repairs, and emergency service calls.
  • Engage in end-end process with subcontractors, from quotations comparison to site deliverables to invoices.
  • Responsible for contract renewals and simple repair quotations process.
  • Performance Metrics:
  • Responsible for KPIs such as productivity, field expenses, Aftermarket Service Sales revenue/margins.
