BANQUET AND SALES MANAGER
Achieve revenue targets set for the department with a creative and methodical approach. (Sales & Marketing skills in-line with current trends would be an advantage)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Co-ordinate event requirements with other respective departments at the hotel for smooth execution
- Responsible for all banquet functions and should have the ability to maintain the highest standards in relation to the quality, presentation, and service throughout each guest experience.
- Should have excellent event management skills as well as sound knowledge of local and continental cuisine and customs mentor, coach, and train banquet & MICE sales staff
- Focusing on the MICE market while up-selling each business opportunity to maximize revenue
REQUIREMENTS
- Professional qualification in sales and marketing / business management or similar from a recognized professional institution
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in banquet and MICE businesses with a minimum of 2 years experience in a managerial capacity
- Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
- Strong supervisory and managerial skills.
