ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT - TAX

JOB PROFILE

  • Preparation of CIT, VAT, SSCL, WHT, and Stamp Duty computations, schedules, and filing of returns
  • Maintaining VAT and SVAT invoice details and uploading SVAT Forms 04, 05, and 07 into RAMIS
  • Handling IRD matters, including assessments, tax defaults, and issues before the Tax Appeals Commission
  • Arranging all tax payments
  • Maintaining and preparing necessary reports related to taxation
  • Recording transactions in the General Ledger (GL) and reconciling all taxes

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or pursuing)
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting or tax (experience in a tax role preferred)
  • Knowledge of basic tax principles and accounting standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/tax software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
