ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT - TAX
JOB PROFILE
- Preparation of CIT, VAT, SSCL, WHT, and Stamp Duty computations, schedules, and filing of returns
- Maintaining VAT and SVAT invoice details and uploading SVAT Forms 04, 05, and 07 into RAMIS
- Handling IRD matters, including assessments, tax defaults, and issues before the Tax Appeals Commission
- Arranging all tax payments
- Maintaining and preparing necessary reports related to taxation
- Recording transactions in the General Ledger (GL) and reconciling all taxes
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or pursuing)
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or tax (experience in a tax role preferred)
- Knowledge of basic tax principles and accounting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/tax software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
