TRAINEE TECHNICIAN
Preferred around Negombo
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic entry-level Electrician who has recently completed their certification and is ready to begin a hands-on career.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair work related to:
- Cladding systems
- Glass installation and repair
- Provide 24-hour on-call operational support, responding promptly and efficiently to emergencies or urgent maintenance requests.
- Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, including 3-phase power systems.
- Support senior electricians in wiring, circuit installation, and troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate tools and PPE.
- Maintain logs and reports of maintenance and repair work.
QUALIFICATIONS
- NVQ Level 03 Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Valid 3-phase electrical certification.
- Good knowledge of A/C system components, operation, welding, and basic troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of electrical tools and safety procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to be available 24/7 for emergency support.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
