WE ARE HIRING
DRAUGHTSMAN - MEP
KEY AREA(S)
- Developing designs concept and preparation of design drawings/ tender drawings.
- Generating CAD models using AutoCAD / ZWCAD / REVIT software's.
- Liaising with clients for approvals and consultations.
- Design and AutoCAD drafting of complete HVAC works including air distribution calculation, duct sizing, duct layout, refrigerant piping, chilled water piping, diffusers / grill sizing etc. and plumbing, drainage and firefighting layouts.
- Preparation of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage & Fire Fighting layout / Composite Shop Drawings including design calculation, piping design etc. Employee responsibility also includes site survey, preparation of As Built Drawings, Quantity take off etc.
- Preparation of shop drawings, construction drawings & as-built drawings.
- Meeting with architects, designers, consultants and engineers to discuss design ideas.
- Preparation of Ensuring product designs meet required safety and structural standards.
- Blending technique and aesthetics to create final designs.
- Presenting various design perspectives for construction improvements and adaptations.
- Technical assistance to engineers & Project managers.
KEY REQUIREMENTS (QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS)
- Diploma/ Higher Diploma in relevant field.
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in relevant field.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel & Knowledge of AutoCAD Scripts).
- Good communication both verbal & written skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.
- Exposure in foreign projects would be an added advantage.
