Job brief
We are seeking friendly, professional, and reliable Bar Stewards to provide excellent customer service, manage bar operations, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Bar Stewards play a key role in ensuring guests have a positive experience by serving drinks efficiently and upholding hospitality standards.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and serve customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar and seating areas.
- Manage stock levels, restock bar supplies, and rotate inventory.
- Process cash and card payments using POS systems.
- Follow responsible alcohol service and local licensing laws.
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar, including stock checks and cleaning.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally and promptly.
- Work collaboratively with other bar staff, kitchen team, and management.
Requirements and skills
- Previous bar or hospitality experience preferred but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of drink preparation and bar hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle busy shifts.
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
- Must meet minimum legal age for alcohol service in your area.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
