Quality Assurance Executive
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the production quality control team.
- Ensure compliance with system certification requirements.
- Train employees on maintaining proper food safety culture in a factory environment.
- Plan and conduct periodic internal audits to verify compliance with Food Safety and Quality Management System requirements.
- Assist in maintaining the Quality Management System and updating system documents.
- Carry out root cause analysis of customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare procedures, work instructions, product specifications, flow charts, etc.
- Maintain proper relationships with external parties as required.
PREREQUISITE:
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or Agriculture from a reputed university.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a QAE in the food manufacturing and processing industry. Experience in the export industry will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in managing and maintaining multiple product certifications will be considered a distinctive advantage — particularly in meeting diverse global market requirements such as BRC, FSSC 22000, and IFS Food Safety Management Systems, as well as product certifications like Kosher, Organic, Fair Trade, and Rainforest Alliance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, along with strong computer literacy.
- Independent, self-driven individual with a strong work ethic.
