WE ARE LOOKING FOR
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR (EXPERIENCED)
ANC Education is one of the largest private education conglomerates operating in Sri Lanka, offering a full spectrum of educational programmes from pre-school, high school, undergraduate to postgraduate programmes; in its six education providers. ANC currently provides fully comprehensive and accredited American, Australian and UK undergraduate & postgraduate educational programmes in Sri Lanka.
We are also looking for a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educator who is committed to nurturing young minds and fostering a positive, engaging learning environment, based at the ANC Head Office (Colombo).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on teaching experience with children from 6 months to 7 years.
- Prior experience in higher education teaching or academic training is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of early learning frameworks and child development theories.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to support and assess student teachers during internships.
- Familiarity with academic procedures and quality assurance standards in higher education.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver engaging lectures and tutorials in Early Childhood Education aligned with the program curriculum.
- Supervise and mentor students during their teaching internships and practical placements.
- Assess student performance through assignments, presentations, and fieldwork evaluations.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic planning within the department.
- Support research initiatives and encourage evidence-based practice in early education.
- Provide academic counseling and career guidance to students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and institutional events as required.
