ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and a passion for accuracy? Epic Waves (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a dedicated Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team!
Requirements:
- Successfully completed G.C.E. A/L in Commerce or Maths stream with a minimum of 3 Cs, or hold a relevant professional qualification in Accounting.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (a must).
- Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A team player who can also work under minimum supervision.
- Must reside close to Panadura.
- A highly responsible and organized individual.
- Ability to work Monday to Saturday 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare and process salaries for internal and freelance staff.
- Identify and correct salary calculation errors using system reports.
- Liaise with the IT department to resolve system-related payroll issues.
- Ensure the accuracy of payroll reports and handle related queries.
- Handle full responsibility for staff payments.
- Perform bank transactions and payments.
- Enter all transactions in QuickBooks (QB).
- Prepare reports related to salary payments and student admissions.
- Attend to freelance staff payment inquiries.
- Verify and monitor student payment records.
