ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANTS
Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Create financial documents such as bills, invoices, payables, receivables.
- Assist in preparation of budgets, forecasts. Monitor budget variances and provide explanations for any deviations.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Collaborate with external and internal auditors and banks.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and financial regulations.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities and potential risks.
Qualifications
- Partly qualification in ICASL, CIMA/ ACCA
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages.
- Sound knowledge in QuickBooks system will be an added advantage.
- More than 2 year experience in similar capacity.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal management and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
