Vacancy: Administrative Officer
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, tech-savvy, and interested in working in a corporate and legal environment, particularly with company secretarial and trademark-related responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the use of the eROC dashboard for statutory filings and maintaining corporate compliance records.
- Providing administrative support for company secretarial functions, including maintaining company registers and preparing standard forms and filings.
- Coordinating and organising trademark-related documentation, renewals, and correspondence with the National Intellectual Property Office.
- Managing client files, databases, and tracking deadlines for renewals, filings, and appointments.
- Assisting in the preparation and formatting of correspondence, contracts, and documents under the guidance of senior staff.
- Liaising with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders for document submissions and information gathering.
- Supporting the development and coordination of new administrative processes and client engagement strategies.
- Supporting social media communications and digital engagement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A diploma or degree in Business Administration, Management, Law or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a professional office setting is an advantage.
- Familiarity with the Companies Act or eROC filings will be a strong plus (training will be provided).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and strong general computer skills.
- High level of attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- A positive attitude and the ability to multitask in a dynamic work environment.
- Experience in social media management is an added advantage.
