Job Description
FINANCE MANAGER
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, including but not limited to statutory financial reporting and audits, monthly management reporting, and the annual budgeting process
- Manage the treasury function with a focus on proactive cash flow and treasury management, aiming to minimize finance costs
- Analyze and manage hedging and funding activities to support the organization's financial strategy
- Conduct foreign exchange risk analysis and develop strategies to mitigate currency exposure
- Oversee international trade finance activities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Manage the organization’s working capital requirements effectively
- Develop and maintain tax planning strategies, compliance procedures, and risk assessment frameworks to ensure effective tax management
CANDIDATES PROFILE :
- Fully qualified CASL or CIMA, with a Degree or MBA
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity
- Prior experience working in an ERP environment; exposure to SAP is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders
- A dedicated team player with the ability to lead and motivate teams and meet deadlines
- Demonstrates the highest levels of integrity and possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Age below 40 years
