Technical Officer – Electrical

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems for hydropower and solar energy projects.
- Participate in project planning, cost estimation, and tender documentation for electro-mechanical and solar installations.
- Supervise electrical works at project construction sites.
- Monitor performance of solar PV systems and hydro turbines, and diagnose/resolve technical faults.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and support regulatory and environmental compliance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- NDT/NDES/HNDE or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; experience in the hydro and solar power sectors will be a distinct advantage.
- Sound knowledge of standard engineering practices and the ability to interpret technical drawings
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
- Willingness to work at remote project locations and in field conditions
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit
- Age below 30 years
