ROLE PROFILE
- Analyze system specifications and business requirements to ensure they are clear, testable, and meet project objectives.
- Develop detailed test plans, strategies, and test cases to ensure comprehensive testing coverage across different environments.
- Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, and others, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, collaborating with developers for quick issue resolution.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, results, and reports to ensure transparency and traceability.
- Promote QA best practices, continuously contributing to process improvements and the adoption of new tools and methodologies.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, including manual and automated testing.
- Strong ability to identify subtle bugs and inconsistencies in complex software systems.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing issues, conducting root cause analysis, and proposing solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively reporting issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrates the ability to work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to drive successful product releases.
