Key Responsibilities:
Tax Advisor
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of tax returns for IWS Holdings and its subsidiaries.
- Maintain compliance with Sri Lankan tax laws and regulations.
- Manage relationships with tax authorities and handle tax audits or disputes.
- Provide strategic tax planning and advice to minimize tax liabilities.
Internal Auditor
- Conduct periodic audits to evaluate financial records, internal controls, and operational processes.
- Identify risks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement; provide actionable recommendations.
- Prepare and present detailed audit reports to senior management.
- Review and approve payment requests to ensure compliance with financial policies and accuracy prior to execution.
- Monitor compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong knowledge in Taxation with experience and UpToDate theoretical knowledge.
- Professional qualification in taxation is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or taxation.
- In-depth knowledge of internal auditing practices and Sri Lankan tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
