QUALITY ASSURANCE EXECUTIVE (FOOD)
We are one of the leading Exporters of Sri Lankan Rice, Spices & Coconut Products and other commodity items to some of the leading Supermarket and Hypermarket Chains around the world.
We are looking for an ideal candidate for the post of Quality Assurance Executive (Food)
Qualifications
- Should possess a Degree or Diploma in Food Science/Food Technology or related from a reputed university.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quality Assurance in the field of Food Processing/Manufacturing in a Food Production Facility would be an advantage.
- Possess knowledge and work experience in ISO 22000/HACCP and GMP Practices, Regulation and Documentation.
- Having a good knowledge of USDA, EU, and JAS Organic Certifications, Regulations and Documentation.
- Willing to work extended hours when needed.
- Commitment to position at least 2-4 years.
- May need to travel for Quality Auditing & Reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Overseeing the quality in all aspects.
- Maintaining quality objectives, supporting the corporate business plan.
- Quality System Management and updating of system documents with the compliance of ISO 22000 and Organic Food Certifications.
- Customer Complaint root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action implementation.
- Create, review, update and monitor policies, procedures and work instructions.
- Developing, updating product specifications, process flow charts.
- Liaising and maintain excellent business relationship with external auditors.
- Monitoring and reviewing of products and processes in compliance with established quality/Food Safety Management Systems of GMP and QM within the organization.
- Analysis of raw materials, semi finished goods.
- Training of employees related to quality requirements & GMP standards.
- Ability to guide a team with effective leadership skills.
