Assistant Manager - Scientist (Dankotuwa)
At Hemas Consumer we innovate solutions that improve lives and champion local needs. We’re looking for a passionate and scientifically driven Scientist to join our R&D team. The role further entails,
- Developing and proposing novel concepts related to Skin care and Hair care related Products during designing phase.
- Propose cost optimization measures to senior management.
- Developing and proposing novel cost saving ideas for the related portfolio.
- Introduce and Intervene to new and existing sources to facilitate the identified projects.
- Contribute and design the brief collaborating with Brands.
- Manage the lab or plant sample preparation activity while maintaining the required finished product parameters.
- Interpret the data in business development angle and present to the business stakeholders with recommendations.
- Analyze quality complaints received from consumers or trade with regard to deterioration or stability failure products.
- Managing the external agencies to facilitate core activities of product development.
- Conduct periodic technical sessions for other functions such as Quality Assurances and Production.
Who We Want
- Bachelors degree in Science from a recognized institute. (Chemistry or Biochemistry as the core subjects)
- 5 Years of experience in FMCG related industry and 4 years experience in the field of Chemistry.
