A subsidiary of the Access Group, specializes in property development across Sri Lanka—offering residential plots, luxury apartments, and commercial spaces with a focus on quality and value. The company is currently looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join its growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day accounting operations
- Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Support Budgeting and Forecasting Activities
- Prepare and file tax documents in compliance with relevant laws
- Maintain accounts payable/receivable records
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory regulations
Candidate Profile:
- Part qualification in CA/CMA/ACCA or a relevant degree in Accounting/Finance
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail
