Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Liaise with coconut, fruit, and spice farmers, and engage with new farmers.
- Strengthening the backward integration programs for the coconut, fruit, and spice supply chain.
- Maintaining organic standards & quality of the product.
- Promoting technology adoption for organic cultivation to enhance land productivity and yields.
- Providing assistance and training on post-harvest techniques for coconut, fruits, and spices.
- Collaborates with external parties to enhance agricultural supply chain activities.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE;
- Degree or Diploma in Agriculture related or equivalent.
- Residents of Pannala / Kuliyapitiya area are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work flexibly across various locations and travel by motorcycle is required.
- Experience in the coconut, fruits, and spices sector, along with agricultural programs for backward integration, would be advantageous.
- Should be a young & energetic team player with strong communicational skills.
- A valid motorcycle driving license is required.
