Technician
Job Role
- Operate and maintain fully automated tea bagging machines and ancillary machines.
- Ability to carry out Scheduled maintenance of manufacturing machines.
- Ability to lead a team of Operators and work alongside the fellow technicians.
- Need to attend Mechanical, electrical and electronics troubleshooting and maintenance work.
- Maintain requires spares for manufacturing machinery and maintenance.
- Ensure work are carried out in accordance with Health, safety and industrial norms and standards.
- Need to work on Saturdays, occasionally on Sundays for maintenance activities.
- Ability to understand Drawings, manuals, single line diagrams in English Language is a must.
Position Requirement
- NVQ level 4 from a recognized institute, specialized in Millwright fitter or Mechatronics preferred.
- Need fair proficiency in reading and writing skills of English Language.
- Computer skills including MS excel, word etc.
- 2 years of similar experience in food industry.
- Thorough understanding on mechanical, Automation, PLC, Pneumatic and electrical systems related to manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Experience on operating high-speed packaging machinery would be ideal.
- Experience on workshop machinery would be added advantage.
