Duties & Responsibilities
- Support Finance Manager (IFRS) to implement the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS 17) across the organization, ensuring compliance with all requirements and agreed timelines.
- Coordinate with professional service advisors to implement IFRS 17.
- Perform extensive analysis and technical evaluation for IFRS 17.
- Analyze and understand the requirements of IFRS 17 and involve in IFRS 17 User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system implementation.
- Facilitate external audit requirements in relation to IFRS 17 financial reporting.
- Assisting in the preparation of Operational and Capital expenditure budgets for the company.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly cash forecasts with a focus on variance reporting.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly compliance reports to the IRCSL with the due dates.
- Assisting the Annual Assets verification.
- Perform any other related functions and duties assigned by the management as needed to meet business requirements.
Qualifications & Pre-requisites
- Accounting/ Finance related Bachelor’s degree from a UGC approved university and part qualification in CA, CIMA or ACCA with a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills with both analytical and numerical skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity in SAP environment would be an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Age preferable below 30 years of age.
