Purpose

The Pricing Coordinator is responsible for obtaining, managing, and maintaining accurate pricing information from suppliers for loose furniture products used in the hospitality industry. This role works closely with internal teams, suppliers, and business partners to ensure that pricing data is up-to-date, competitive, and aligned with project requirements for hotel and commercial furnishing solutions.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience in pricing, procurement, or supply chain coordination, ideally within the hospitality, furniture, or contract furnishing industry.
  • Strong organizational skills, multitasking with an attention to detail in managing large volumes of pricing data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other pricing or data management software; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of the hospitality industry, including project timelines, client specifications, and budget management.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supplier Price Coordination: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, sourcing accurate pricing for a range of loose furniture products, including seating, tables, storage, and other furnishings tailored for the hospitality sector.
  • Price Data Entry & Management: Enter supplier price data into internal systems, ensuring that all prices are accurate, consistent, and easily accessible for the pricing team, operation team, and project managers.
  • Market and Supplier Price Monitoring: Regularly track and update supplier pricing, including any price increases or discounts. Ensure that price changes are communicated promptly to all relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Cost Negotiation Support: Assist the management in price negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive rates, while meeting margin targets and budget requirements for large-scale hospitality projects.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain organized records of all supplier pricing, contracts, and any relevant communications. Generate regular reports for senior management on price trends, cost changes, and supplier performance.
  • Project-Based Pricing Support: Provide pricing support for specific hotel, resort, or other hospitality-related projects, ensuring that the correct furniture prices are provided for proposals, bids, and quotations.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, design, and project management teams to ensure that accurate pricing is available for customer proposals, product sourcing, and inventory management.
  • Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all pricing data adheres to company guidelines, supplier contracts, and industry standards. Help maintain consistency and transparency in pricing structures.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with the supply chain team to align pricing with delivery schedules and production timelines, ensuring no discrepancy between pricing and the availability of products.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to track industry trends, competitor pricing, and new product offerings to keep the company’s pricing competitive within the hospitality sector.
