AREA SALES MANAGER

North/ East/ North Central

What is the role?

Are you a results-driven sales leader with a deep understanding of regional markets? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to lead and grow our business in the North, East, and North Central provinces.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Lead and manage the regional sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets.
  • Monitoring your team’s performance, analyzing sales data and periodical forecasting.
  • Overall responsible to ensure regional and distributor profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
  • Execute territory-specific sales strategies to expand market share and product visibility.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide insights to shape commercial decisions.
  • Ensure optimal availability, visibility, and freshness of products across the territory.
  • Conduct regular market visits and provide performance reports to senior management.

What knowledge and skills are expected in an ideal candidate?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or a Professional Qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in handling FMCG products at a similar capacity.
  • Motivated and target oriented individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who could drive a sales team towards its goals.
  • Strong knowledge of the North, East, and North Central provinces’ retail and distribution landscape.
  • Experience in distributor management is an added advantage.
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth in a business.
  • Strong leadership skills and an ability to inspire sales team.
