Audio Technicians / Operators

The BMICH, Sri Lanka’s premier Conference, Exhibitions and Events venue, is seeking dedicated and skilled Audio Technicians / Operators to join our technical team.
Position Overview:
As an Audio Technician / Operator at BMICH, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining state-of-the-art audio equipment for a variety of conferences, events, and live performances. Your expertise will ensure that every event's sound quality exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, test, and operate audio equipment, including mixing consoles, microphones, speakers, and related devices.
- Monitor sound during events to ensure optimal quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues swiftly.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of audio equipment.
- Collaborate with event coordinators and technical staff for seamless event execution.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure all safety standards and best practices are adhered to.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Audio Technician, Sound Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with digital and analog audio equipment and software.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and outside regular hours.
- Relevant certifications or training in audio engineering will be an advantage.
