MARKETING & SALES EXECUTIVE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Independently manage sales coordination with the stores and customers.
  • Visit clients and build long-term business relationships.
  • Analyze market strengths, trends, and customer needs to support strategic sales decisions.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Manage and expand relationships with key corporate and export clients.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge, including accurate measurements, calculations, and specifications for pine wood pallets.
  • Generate invoices, issue contracts, and update internal systems with high attention to detail.
  • Analyze competitor activity to identify market opportunities and risks.
  • Work closely with the operations and production teams to ensure alignment between customer expectations and delivery timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or business development (experience in the wood products, packaging, or manufacturing industry is an added advantage).
  • Confident, outgoing, and persuasive personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and manage professional client relationships.
  • Strong communication skills in Sinhala and English (Tamil is an added advantage).
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful B2B sales strategies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and digital marketing platforms is a plus.
