FINANCE MANAGER
(Chartered Accountant Preferred)
Taj Samudra Colombo, a renowned luxury hotel, is seeking highly skilled and motivated professionals to join our esteemed Finance team. We currently have openings for experienced Finance Manager to contribute to the success and excellence of our facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assumes responsibility for preparing and presenting all MIS reports to develop a more informative database for improved management decision-making and critical evaluation of activities.
- Set up a review system to comprehensively cover all areas of financial performance and statutory compliance.
- Ensure the daily and monthly FC checklist is diligently filled and all tasks are performed in timelines.
- Informs and advises the Department heads in areas of financial performance, cost-benefits analysis, and cost management.
- Reconciles balance sheet to ensure account balances are supported by appropriate documentation in accordance with policies of the organization.
- Ensures compliance with management contract and reporting requirements and reviews of daily key reports of payables, receivables, and income audit and F&B control functions for capturing leakages and correcting the exceptions.
- Tracking the status of Legatrix and ensuring that all statutory tasks are marked by all functions in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that the terms of the operating agreement with partners are duly complied with in all respects. Oversees internal audit processes.
- Advises the senior management on existing and evolving operating/financial issues.
- Monitors costs and profits and does a detailed variance analysis and provide inputs for management decision making to take corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) - Preferred
- Masters in commerce or Finance (B.Com./MBA) or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in hospitality industry is preferred.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
