Coordinate and manage international shipments by working closely with banks, regulatory authorities, suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearing agents to ensure efficient, timely, and compliant import processes.
Administer marine cargo insurance, maintain relevant documentation, and handle claims and recovery procedures for any discrepancies in shipments.
Prior experience with UCP 600 and URC 522 is an added advantage.
Maintain accurate import records, certifications, and insurance details in ERP systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and readiness for internal and external audits.
Facilitate alignment between internal teams and external suppliers regarding shipment timelines, documentation, and compliance requirements to ensure seamless operations.
Monitor and follow up on LC expiries, shipment deadlines, and SG cancellations to prevent disruptions in the supply chain.
Comprehensive knowledge of banking procedures and international trade compliance will be an advantage.
Personal Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in import operations, international trade, or logistics coordination.
Strong coordination, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
Proficiency in ERP systems and a comprehensive knowledge of import documentation and clearance processes.
Certification in banking or regulatory compliance will be an added advantage.
