Wharf Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Wharf operations related to both Imports and Exports cargo.
- Liaise with shipping lines, transporters and relevant authorities to ensure timely operations.
- Follow up on container releases, refundable deposits, delivery orders and the return of empty containers.
- Coordinate effectively with logistics and warehouse teams.
- Maintain accurate records of all Imports and Exports shipments.
Basic Qualifications:
- CHA Certification.
- GCE A/L qualified or Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar capacity.
- Familiarity with SLPA procedures, ASYCUDA World system and Customs regulations.
- Knowledge in TIEP Scheme-related activities.
- Computer literacy and good communication skills.
- Age between 30 to 40 years.
