Job Description:
We are hiring a Tea Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our tea processing facility. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in tea manufacturing, with expertise in workflow optimization, quality control, and team leadership. You will ensure seamless production while meeting quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all stages of tea production.
- Monitor production timelines to achieve daily/weekly output targets.
- Train, schedule, and manage production staff to maintain high productivity and safety.
- Enforce strict compliance with hygiene, food safety (HACCP/FSSAI), and factory protocols.
- Conduct routine quality inspections and troubleshoot production issues.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery uptime.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory, and wastage.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in tea production supervision (Orthodox/Green tea).
- Knowledge of tea processing techniques and equipment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and adapt to production demands.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (MS Excel for reporting).
- Preferred: Diploma in Food Technology, Agriculture, or equivalent.
