Pottery Artist
Key Competencies
- Requires at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Highly skilled in a variety of ceramic techniques including wheel-throwing, hand-building, glazing, and kiln operation.
- Knowledge of additional artistic skills and mediums is an added advantage.
- Actively seeks opportunities to upsell Art Studio activities and promote resort events.
- Assists the Supervisor with special events and projects within the Recreation Department.
- Responsible for managing all pottery tools, clay, glazes, and kiln materials, ensuring proper inventory and maintenance of studio assets.
- Shows initiative, suggests new services, anticipates guest needs, and discusses improvements with the Supervisor.
- Provides and conducts a range of pottery sessions, arts and crafts activities for both kids and adults.
- Interacts professionally with guests, including conducting workshops and demonstrations.
- Competent in promoting art-related events within the resort.
- Ensures all pottery creations and artistic activities adhere to the resort’s quality and aesthetic standards.
- Supports the Recreation Department as needed.
- Fluent in English.
