Job Title:
MANAGER - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (CIVIL CONSTRUCTION)
Job Role:
The jobholder will be responsible for driving the growth of the civil construction sector with a focus on water projects. This includes identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the client base. The role also involves overseeing project execution through subcontractors while coordinating with main contractors and principal stakeholders. The incumbent will work closely with clients to secure necessary approvals, ensuring that all projects are executed in alignment with profitability targets and strategic business objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field
- At least 5-6 years of experience in a similar capacity within the civil construction or water infrastructure sectors
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and profitability
- A diploma in Project Management with proficiency in project management software will be an added advantage
