eNerds is a leading Managed IT Services company based in Sydney, Australia. We are looking to add a Technical Advisory Engineer to our eNerds Colombo team.
Salary negotiable based on experience.
The Company
eNerds provides outsourced Managed IT Services to businesses with 10 – 250 staff in Australia, and has offices in Sydney (HQ), Melbourne, Brisbane and Colombo. We have won SMB IT Partner of the Year 2015-2022 at the ARN ICT Industry Awards. The services we provide include Managed IT Support, Consulting, Cloud, Internet, Telecommunications and Procurement.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join the advisory team to provide technical advisory support for our business clients. You will be reporting to eNerds Technical Advisory Manager in Sydney. This role suits someone with 5+ years technical support and project experience and who is highly organised, process oriented and has a high attention to detail. If you love technical audits, managing technical projects, tasks and priorities, this role is for you. Training will be provided so you can successfully fulfill all the duties of the role. You will be joining an awesome team who are looking for someone to complement their passion and enthusiasm for the company.
The working hours (8:30am to 5:30pm AEST), Monday to Friday. Remote work arrangements will be made where necessary.

Who will suit?
This position suits an organised, task-oriented person with strong technical and project coordination experience.
How will you be successful?
Your application will be successful if you have the right mix of technical, project coordination, task management and administration skills. You will need to demonstrate a proven ability to handle a busy environment, multi-task and understand the value of excellent customer service. You will have two (2) years or more professional working experience in network engineering, project coordination or project administration.

- Must have technical experience; Microsoft 365 and Azure AD administration, LAN,WAN & IP fundamentals, Internet & Telecommunications, Server and Network hardware administration.
Role Duties
- Reporting to Technical Advisory Manager.
- Conduct client audits, asset registry’s, find technical information and update our systems.
- Generate advisory reports and liaise with sales to generate quotes.
- Ensure advisory team is supported with all technical requirements.
- Project coordinate the collection of ICT information for on-boarding new clients.
- Manage advisory / vCIO systems, tasks and updates.
- Manage and update internal systems notes and audit records.
- Communicate to clients status updates.
English Skills
You must have excellent English skills and strong verbal & written communication for this position.
