ABOUT US
The NCE plays a vital role in strengthening Sri Lanka’s export sector through strategic services such as trade missions, policy advocacy, advisory support, seminars, export certification, and the prestigious NCE Export Awards. We serve as the voice of exporters at both national and international levels.
YOUR ROLE: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct research and provide timely assistance to member organizations.
- Represent the Chamber at stakeholder meetings and industry forums.
- Manage and execute special projects related to international trade.
- Address export-related challenges raised during Chamber Council meetings.
- Coordinate with members and authorities on macro-level export issues.
- Liaise with regional chambers and international donor agencies.
- Support a wide range of NCE activities and initiatives.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Age: 25-35 years
- Experience: 2-3 years in Exports, International Trade, or related fields
- Education: A degree or professional qualification in International Trade, Economics, or Business Management
- Skills:
- Sound knowledge of export procedures, trade agreements, and global trade practices
- Fluent in English and Sinhala (spoken and written); Tamil proficiency is a strong plus
