Executive - 3D & Virtual Sampling
Location - Kandy
Responsibilities
- Create and develop 3D models, animations, and visualizations using CAD and 3D design software to meet project requirements.
- Design digital materials and trims according to specific design needs.
- Develop accurate 3D virtual samples to ensure smooth execution during physical sample creation.
- Stay updated on the latest 3D design technologies and apply best practices in design workflows.
- Collaborate with customers, designers, and stakeholders to understand project needs and present designs clearly.
- Evaluate the quality and realism of 3D virtual samples, digital fabrics, and trims before customer submission.
- Participate in online and physical customer fit sessions, documenting feedback and sharing necessary amendments with the team.
- Study and understand customer standards, including 2D sketches, specifications, and tech pack construction.
- Communicate directly with customers to resolve all technical concerns before finalizing the tech pack.
Qualifications
- A Degree or Diploma in Textile and Clothing from a recognized institution with 2–3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Must be proficient in CLO-3D, 3D Optitex, and Blender (version 4.1 or above).
- Should have strong skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and basic Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in video editing using Capcut, Wondershare Filmora, or similar software is preferred.
- Knowledge in pattern making, garment construction, fabric types, and trims is an added advantage.
