EX-PACK is a leading manufacturer of Corrugated Cartons in Sri Lanka and are looking for dynamic, talented and motivated individuals for the below position.
Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in ensuring all customer quality-related requirements are met.
- Conduct monthly review meetings and internal audits, ensuring corrective actions for non-conformities.
- Monitor and evaluate production activities to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality-related issues quickly and accurately.
- Handle customer complaints and engage in necessary customer visits to resolve issues.
- Oversee adherence to quality certifications such as ISO, FSC, or other relevant standards, ensuring regulatory and customer compliance.
- Develop, refine, and enforce quality control procedures across all production stages to maintain product consistency and reduce defects.
- Utilize quality data and reports to identify trends, implement preventive measures, and support continuous process improvements.
- Conduct training sessions for QA personnel and production staff to enhance awareness of quality standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 5-7 years' experience in a quality assurance role (packaging industry preferred).
- Good understanding of ISO standards and quality management systems; experience with 5S, audits, and quality control tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proximity to the Kelaniya area is an added advantage.
