Manager / Assistant Manager - Laundry

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Laundry Manager or Assistant Laundry Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the entire laundry operations of the resort. The selected individual will ensure the delivery of high-quality laundry services while maintaining operational efficiency and upholding brand standards. This role includes managing staff performance, ensuring equipment maintenance, and achieving guest satisfaction through excellence in laundry services.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the hotel laundry, ensuring timely and high-quality processing of all items.
  • Supervise, train and schedule laundry staff to maintain productivity and cleanliness standards.
  • Monitor laundry inventory, including linens, chemicals, and supplies; coordinate reordering as needed.
  • Maintain all laundry equipment and coordinate timely maintenance or repairs.
  • Implement and enforce hygiene, safety and equipment handling protocols.
  • Conduct quality checks and address any guest complaints or service concerns.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure linen availability and efficient operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of laundry operations, staff attendance and usage reports.
  • Drive cost efficiency by managing supplies, minimizing waste, and optimizing labor.

Requirements and skills

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Laundry Operations, preferably in a star class hotel or resort.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience within a laundry or housekeeping environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of laundry chemicals, equipment handling, and fabric care.
  • Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic hospitality environment.
